October 2025: Developments & Property Sales

The area by our new Community Center continues to rapidly change. Whether it was the recent welcome additions of Pizza & Pub or our upcoming bookstore, candy and gift store, and community space, these blocks are on track for notable years ahead.

We have now discovered plans for Village Green to open two Mixed Use buildings between Dose and Pizza & Pub in 2027. This proposal shows retail, restaurant, and covered patio spaces on the first floor with apartments above.

The Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home on Hadley was officially listed for sale last month. The .92 acre lot is noted for commercial, mixed use, office or residential needs.

The former Soles4Souls property at 319 Martingale was sold to CVE, Inc, or Nashville Machine, a mechanical contractor.

Elsewhere in Lakewood, the property at 209 22nd Street is now available for commercial lease. The listing notes “the site supports a range of mixed-use projects, including storage, contractor or service businesses, retail, office, studio, live/work space, and residential use.”

In Rayon City, 104 Bridgeway Avenue is now listed for rental, noting its office space, two garage bay area, and additional storage buildings in the back.

Finally, a bar and restaurant called Crossroads has taken over the Rayon City space previously occupied by Rawhides. The space has pool and darts, as well as bar snacks and sandwiches.
