Spring Sprint & Stroll

Join the Neighborhood Association and your fellow neighbors for a 5k and/or 1 mile Fun Race! Strollers, wagons, wheelchairs, and leashed pets welcome for this free event. Registrants and volunteers will receive a free sticker.

The 5k and 1 mile races will both start and end at the Farmer's Market Parking Lot on Hadley Ave in the village. Racer check in will begin at 9:30 am and the races will begin at 10 am. We will also have White Shepherd Coffee on-site with food and beverages to kickstart your morning.

This is a casual fun run designed to get the neighborhood out and moving together. There will be no street closures during the event and no official timekeeping - just neighborhood street safety rules and a timer at the finish line!

Community Yard Sale & Sidewalk Chalk Festival

Join us for our annual Community Yard Sale, which will bring together Old Hickory Village, Rayon City, and Lakewood residents for a day of treasure hunting and community spirit! Sign up here to have your home included on the map.

Anyone living in Old Hickory Village, Rayon City, or Lakewood can participate. The event will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, from 8AM to 2PM. All participating homes will be added to a map that will be shared on our social media platforms.

We are back with our biggest Village event – The Haunted Harvest Festival will take place on Saturday, October 17th, from 4 to 7 pm.

We had such a fantastic turnout last year! The Harvest Festival is remaining at the athletic fields at the corner of Old Hickory Blvd and Hadley Ave at 1700 Golf Club Road. We love what a neighborhood staple this community event has become in the past five years, and we couldn’t do it without your participation! Come prepared to eat, shop and for children’s activities… and come in costume!
