We’re Looking for New Historic OHV Neighborhood Association Board Members – Join Us!
As the Old Hickory Village Neighborhood Association continues to grow and evolve, we recognize the invaluable role that fresh perspectives, diverse experiences, and passionate leadership play in our development. That’s why we’re now seeking new board members, like you, to join our team!
Serving on this board is not just a role, it's an opportunity to make a tangible and lasting impact on our community. Our board members help shape the direction of our neighborhood, provide consultation on major decisions impacting The Village, work closely with our councilperson and legislators, and more. Our goal is to ensure we stay true to our mission to advocate for Old Hickory's preservation, quality of life, and unity through event planning, small business support, and volunteer coordination. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or someone newer to non-profit board service, your voice and skills can help us move forward.
We’re especially looking for individuals with experience in the following areas:
Fundraising
Event Planning
Finance
Community Outreach
Communications and Marketing
Real Estate and Development
While we do have specific areas where we could use your expertise, what we value most is your commitment, integrity, and genuine desire to support ALL our neighbors, regardless of their background or circumstances.
Board Member Requirements:
Must be 18+
Live in either Old Hickory Village, Rayon City, or Lakewood.
Attend once monthly board meetings (first Tuesday of the month)
Actively participate in monthly community meetings (second Tuesday of the month)
Have attended a Community Meeting OR an Association event.
Contribute to event planning and execution, as well as fundraising efforts.
