Join the Open Streets Summer Series with Walk Bike Nashville
Walk Bike Nash is opening up downtown streets to people for its Open Streets Summer Series! From noon to 5 p.m., we will close a five-mile loop to cars and invite the Nashville community to walk, bike, and explore. This event is the first of three held on Sundays: July 20, August 17, and September 7.
The series celebrates ten years of Open Streets in Nashville, featuring a route that encourages exploration by your preferred human-powered mode of transportation. Along the way, you'll find plenty of parks, shops, and restaurants. This route, which was also used for the Five-Mile City Tour during Tour de Nash 2025, loops along the Cumberland River and passes through neighborhoods like Rolling Mill Hill and The Gulch.
Whether you choose to stop at a restaurant for a snack, enjoy an outdoor performance at a music venue, or visit a local shop, there are many opportunities to discover new places or revisit old favorites. You can also claim your own space for sidewalk games or simply relax and unwind.
There’s no official kickoff or start/finish line to the route, so you can join at your leisure. Check out openstreetsnashville.org to learn more.
