May 2025: New Businesses & Developments

There has been several exciting developments in Old Hickory, particularly on the restaurant front.

We have long been following the progress of Old Hickory Pizza & Pub, and we are excited to share that they are officially scheduled to open this Monday, May 19th. Be sure to stop in at 1051 Donelson Avenue next week to welcome them to the neighborhood, and please have patience as they get acclimated to their first week open.

Neighborhood food truck staple Nash Dogs has announced they signed a lease to open their first brick and mortar location in the old Subway building by the Piggly Wiggly. Check out the renderings of the future restaurant space here, and follow their Facebook and Instagram to stay up to date.

Additionally, Hamby’s Market has announced they will begin serving ice cream this Monday, May 19th. Stop by and grab a scoop, milkshake, or banana split!
