100 Years of Rayon Time Capsule Opening

Join former DuPont Employees, area businesses, The American Legion Post 91, Old Hickory History, and the Historic Old Hickory Village Neighborhood Association as we celebrate 100 Years of Business in Old Hickory by opening the Rayon Time Capsule. The event occurs on Saturday, May 24, at 10:30 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Park.

There will be a short program, capsule opening, history display, and a flag placement volunteer opportunity to honor those who gave all from Old Hickory this Memorial Day.

In the event of rain, this ceremony will relocate to Old Hickory Church of Christ at 1001 Hadley Avenue.
