The Historic Old Hickory Village Neighborhood Association recently met to review our 2024 and plan for this year. Last year laid a tremendous foundation for us to build off in 2025. Take a look back, and get ready for an even more exciting year in the neighborhood!

Metro Nashville recently completed a review of the city’s Historic Zoning Commission. Changes to the Commission could have an impact on historic neighborhoods such as Old Hickory Village. No actions have been taken yet, but you can review what city officials have to say.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers have begun repairs from the December 2023 tornado and are expected to be complete by mid-March. The tailwater launching ramp and fishing platform below Old Hickory Lock & Dam will be closed in the meantime. We’ll see you on the walking trail soon enough!

Interior and exterior construction is still underway on Old Hickory Pizza & Pub, but the restaurant’s Facebook is now live! Plus, try Nash Dogs’ new, expanded menu at their location inside Hamby’s Market.
